Projects
In elementary school, a few of us were on a team to build a balsa bridge for a science competition. We met at Sabeer's house every Tuesday after school to sync on everyones' progress. I'd never been on a team, let alone a science competition, so I thought we’d eventually make some progress— someone knew what they were doing, right? By the night before the competition we’d effectively spent more time syncing than actually building the thing itself. I spent my first all-nighter and my first time having gorilla glue stuck on almost all my fingers to build a bridge that weighed under 15g and won the regional competition.
If you’re taught you can’t do anything, you won’t do anything— I was taught I could do everythingOver the past five years, I've averaged one project every month ranging from (soon) training the best geo guessing model to a bot that scrapes your instagram and twitter feeds and sends you the best stuff based on your previous likes.
