Fine-tuned GPT-2 on hundreds of thousands of news articles to generate entire publications, running GPT-2 124M inference on a cluster of 4 Raspberry Pis. The sites were a fork of Ghost. The idea was to give journalists a "smart template" — they wouldn't write the article, they'd spend their time making sure the AI-generated draft was factually correct and told the story they wanted to tell.
I had our AI rewrite Wired and TechCrunch articles as a proof of concept. Later productized it as Wordflow AI and tried selling it B2B. It didn't take off the way I'd hoped but I learned a lot about shipping and scaling.
